Session 1 - History, Costuming, and Gloves & Stockings
2:30PM - 4:00PM
Did you know the art of burlesque dates back to the late 1800s? Learn a comprehensive overview of the art of the tease, where it started, why it succeeded and why it disappeared. Then it's on to fringe, sequins, rhinestones, and tear away pants! Even if you've not sewn a stitch since failing home economics in 6th grade you can learn how to be a regular Bob Mackie! Lastly learn techniques, movement, and creative ways to take it off gloves and stockings that will always get your audience going! Bring your own pair of fingered gloves (arm length preferred) and thigh high stockings or you can buy your own in class.
Session 2 - Burlesque Queen Makeup and Choreography
4:30PM - 6:00PM
The secret to the glamorous look of a burlesque star is in the sparkle! Master glitter application techniques from a captivating eye to the ruby slipper lip! A master shopping list with product suggestions is included. Then it's time to dance! Learn basic moves and a choreographed dance that will leave get you in touch with your inner burlesque diva. Anyone can do it and you can take it home as a sexy surprise for your loved one!

Fannie Spankings has performed in competitions and festivals across the continent. From Montreal to New Orleans, New York to San Diego she has charmed audiences from cheek to shining cheek! Midnite Martini "Denver's High Flying Tease" has teased and titillated at events such as The Burlesque Hall of Fame 2009 Las Vegas, The Atlantis Resort Paradise Island Bahamas, and Tease-O-Rama 2008 San Francisco.
